Chinese Culture can be described via certain encountered aspects such as general thinking, ideas and concepts as well as the implementation of said aspects into everyday life, politics, art and other fields of human life.
The Chinese cultural area has originated over 3500 years ago. Many ideas and ways of thinking are very strict and “untouchable”. Some have changed abruptly by the Cultural Revolution. On the basis of our experiences, we will look together as a group to this fascinating culture and explain it.
The Chinese community, which has been determined for centuries by the Chinese emperor, has undergone radical fast changes in the last 100 years. Will show how the family structures are constructed hierarchically, how the daily life of the Chinese is designed and we discuss “Dos and Don’ts”.
But it is not only the aspects of the private environment that can irritate us “Westerners”. Even in public places, for example at the bank, the grocery store or in the Metro, we are witnesses or direct participants of situations that can be misunderstood by us or that can confuse us. We explain these circumstances and show you where these practices and ways of thinking in China come from.
